Travel Guide to Ulaan Baatar and The Mongolian Countryside

Mongolia Expat's Travel Guide To Ulaan Baatar has been a runaway success since it was published, and has sold over 10,000 copies. The full proceeds from the sales of this book went to a Mongolian children's charity chosen by the British Ambassador in Ulaan Baatar and was donated by Chris Devonshire-Ellis back in 2008. The book is a 140 page full color guide with over 250 photos. Contents include a detailed section on getting to Mongolia, visa, medical and other requirements, information about what to see and where to go in UB, including monasteries, museums, sites of cultural interest, hotels, tour companies, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. It also features articles on trips you can take out of Ulaan Baatar, including Trekking the Gobi, the annual Naadam Festival, Hunting with Eagles, Prezwakskis Wild Horses, Fishing at Khovsgol, Horse Trekking, staying with nomads, and a useful guide to Mongolian birds, animals and flowers. Wild Horses, Fishing at Khovsgol, Horse Trekking, staying with nomads, and a useful guide to Mongolian birds, animals and flowers.

We are now making it available on a complimentary basis to Mongolia Expat readers.

We would request that for those who feel able, a small donation in return for the download is made to the Snow Leopard Trust.

We thank you for your consideration.
