Mongolia Expat has been written, produced and published by Chris Devonshire-Ellis since 2006. Inspired by a trip to Mongolia ten years previously, he has subsequently spent much of his free time exploring the country and traveling across its wide diversity of landscapes and countryside. A keen trekker, horseman and environmentalist, he sometimes also doubles up as a tour guide when not busy with his professional activities. He is also involved in the promotion of charitable work in Mongolia, the proceeds from the Mongolia Expat book went to a charity dealing with the education of homeless children, while readers who download material from this site are encouraged to donate to the Snow Leopard Trust.

Mongolia Expat produces a full color magazine twice a year, displaying the unique and varied nature, flora, fauna and trekking and adventure travel the country has to offer. Readers are also encouraged to contribute material for inclusion on this site. Please contact editor@mongoliaexpat.com.
